Summer Moak (LUX/sideshow p/b Specialized) did what she does best and out-sprinted what was left of a shattered Women’s Pro 1/2 field Saturday at the Valley of the Sun road race.
Moak collected her second consecutive stage win on the weekend and holds on to her general classification lead.
Moak’s teammate, Luke Lamperti, emerged from a Men’s Pro/1 bunch sprint and took the victory, sailing across the line and posting up with a shrug.
Unofficially, though, it appears Magnus Sheffield (Hot Tubes Development Team) will hang on to his GC lead.
