Dominic Suozzi (Big Picture Cycling) brought home a national championship Monday night in a match sprint at the Velo Sports Center in Los Angeles.
The 18-year-old defended his title against Kyle Kato of West Des Moines, Iowa at USA Cycling’s Junior and Elite National Championships and held up his end of a deal with his brother who contracted leukemia this year.
Suozzi’s brother told him to not worry about him back in Arizona, but to train, race and win in California, Suozzi said.
