Ethan Overson (Gateway Devo Cycling Team) extended his command of Arizona bike racing Sunday with a Men’s Pro 1/2/3 victory at the Sun Devil Crit around historic Gammage Auditorium on Arizona State University’s campus in Tempe.
Overson, racing age 20, out-performed 56 other riders Sunday and has made it onto the podium in every race so far this season:
UA Grand Prix: 3rd place
The Pinal County Vuelta a Santa Catalina Road Race: 2nd place
Avondale 2: 2nd place
Race Against Time TT: 1st place
Avondale 1: 2nd place
Cara O’Neill (UA Cycling) took the win for the Women’s Pro 1/2/3 race after winning Collegiate Women’s A earlier in the day.
Logan Bredesky (unattached) crossed the line first in the Men’s Cat 5 race, while Isabella Rich (unattached) picked up a win in the Women’s Cat 5 race.
