Clipped In launches Version 2.0: clippedin.bike

Clipped In launched on Thursday a new, interactive redesign of the No. 1 cycling resource that will provide users the ability to post events and thoroughly search the site.
A year in the making, clippedin.bike is the most comprehensive cycling resource in the nation, allowing users to post events, coaching information and group ride updates.

“Our goal is to help grow the sport we love and to get more people out on the bike,” said Sarah Muench, Clipped In co-founder. “We just made that easier with better navigation and all the features site visitors love, such as news stories, group rides, events and more.”

Some of the main improvements with the new site are:

  • Ability to create a free user profile to share cycling event, news, photos and other information.
  • Ability to search cycling event listings by location and type – in Arizona and beyond.
  • Event organizers can now create events on the site and reach tens of thousands of cyclists for free.
  • Bike shops, Coaches and Teams can create a profile to expand their online presence and reach tens of thousands of cyclists for free.
  • We’ve added Downhill, Enduro and Triathlon to event listings to give you the most comprehensive cycling event calendar.
  • Users can create and edit group ride listings, so you can change start times and dates when they happen.
  • We’ve added a comprehensive listing of results, so no matter who runs the event, you can get results in one place.
  • We’ve made it easier to request premium event listings and have improved placement on the page to get you the most views.
  • Users can upload photo albums to share the latest in event and other photos.
  • Users can draft and submit news stories for review and possible publication.
