Riders took on Round 2 of the Avondale Crit Sunday as they blazed around a counter-clockwise course looking for victory.
The go-fast-turn-left course set up fields to navigate two short turns before a long finishing straight, rather than a sweeping bend like last week.
Pro fields
Johnny Corcoran (Bicycle Haus Racing) sprinted to victory in a 35-rider field just ahead of Quinn Simmons (LUX/Specialized by Cynergy) and Adam Bryfogle (Landis/Trek).
Janelle Cole (Landis/Trek) racked up win No. 2 after going into a three-woman break that stayed away from the rest of the field for at least half the race.
Cat 5 fields
Cecile Lejeune (ASU Cycling) picked up another win, taking off from the field and sticking a solo break.
Jacob Piazza (Bicycle Haus Racing) picked up his first crit win this season after coming in fifth last week.
