2 to Go video: Cat 3 Men look to finish strong at VOS crit

After a difficult time trial and unseasonably warm road race, Cat 3 men from across the country clipped in for the criterium at the 2016 Valley of the Sun Stage Race.

Coming into the third stage, the 16-second gap Kyle Van Renterghem (Tucson Endurance Racing) was able to open up in the time trial over Anthony Moye (Team Atom-Trek) remains, despite the best efforts of Christian DeGroot (Unattached), Henry Svendblad (GPE Racing p/b Athlete Octane), Kenyon Ralph (San Diego Bicycle Club) and Garron Cadiente (Jetset Racing).

Ultimately, the criterium podium would be stacked with newcomers, with Rolando Trillo (EP Cyclists), James Hilyer (TRU/Trace 3 Racing) and Reyes Alvarez (Landis/Trek) battling it out all the way up to the line in a giant sprint finish.

The general classification remained unchanged after the crit with Kyle Van Renterghem (Tucson Endurance Racing) taking the overall win back home to Tucson.

Thanks to Henry Svendblad  and Kyle Van Renterghem (Tucson Endurance Racing) for letting us go behind the bars.
