Two local Arizona favorites are competing this week in the USA Pro Cycling Challenge against big guns like Tejay Van Garderen (BMC Racing) and Rafal Majka (Tinkoff Saxo) and other Tour de France favorites.
By day three Scottsdale’s Eric Marcotte and Prescott’s Travis McCabe (Team Smartstop) were far behind in the standings, but two of their teammates, Julian Kyer and Rob Britton stayed in the top 25.

The two thanked their fans at the Underground Crit in Phoenix after Marcotte won the national championship and McCabe took second.
