Tour Da Yoop, Eh™ 2024

July 26 - August 3

Jersey sizing information

The jerseys run small, almost all circumstances require you to order a size larger than normal. Additional sizing information can be found at https://www.podiumwear.com/sports/cycling/size-charts/. Be certain to check the sizing chart before you submit your size. We aren’t kidding here. Half of our riders order too small of a jersey. Your choice if you want to have your belly button hanging out. Hey, some people find midriffs sexy.

DETAILS

We start and stop the 1,200 mile ride in Manistique, taking a clockwise tour around the UP. Each day is around 120 miles. The first group (slower riders) start riding at 7:00, followed by the faster group at 8:00 each morning from the host hotel of that town. Riders form groups based on desired speed, and follow our route through vast quiet roads eventually arriving in the next host city. There are 10 sections in total.

We (TDY) transport riders luggage from host hotel to host hotel. We have water stops every 30-40 miles or so depending on the day. SAG vehicles follow rider groups and other vehicles keep tabs on riders throughout. The U.P. is long and skinny. This makes for easy logistics when trying to get back to your car (if you aren’t doing all 10 days). There are also taxi services available. All this information can be found in more detail under the Rider Central tab of our website, www.tourdayoopeh.com.

Registration is simple. Each day is $170. Choose how many days you plan on riding, and the sections you’ll be riding in. You will be able to change your days in the future if necessary. If you sign up for 5 days, and get inspired to do all 10, you can also register for more days in the future.

Returning riders that certify they already have a orange camo jersey will be able to indicate it and reduce the registration fee (by $110) during the registration process. New riders will be charged the jersey cost, which is already included in the registration fee. For example, a one day registration fee of $280 = $170 for registration and $110 for a jersey.

Plaid jersey’s are given out for free to the riders completing their final section during our group ride. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishment and it’s our gift to you. White Plaid is only given to riders who have completed all 10 sections in 10 consecutive days, twice. Keep that in mind if you are thinking about riding 8 days this year.

REFUNDS

There are no refunds directly from Tour Da Yoop, Eh. This is a long 10 day event with lots of overhead and tons of complexities. There is an option to buy registration refund insurance during registration. Consider purchasing that if you are not sure you will be able to attend. Allianz also has trip insurance and it works perfectly in this situation. It only takes minutes to apply online, and can include other costs besides just the registration fee (including lodging, travel and other). The trip insurance can be purchased post-registration.

If interested in a refund option, we recommend purchasing Allianz trip insurance at https://www.allianztravelinsurance.com/.
