A portion of race fees will benefit the Mountaineer Food Bank. Mountaineer Food Bank works with more than 400 community partners to help end hunger in West Virginia. It serves 48 out of the state’s 55 counties to meet the needs of 200,000 plus neighbors who don’t know where their next meal is coming from. In 2023, Mountaineer Food Bank distributed 23.5 million pounds of food, totaling 18 million meals, reaching 104,256 households. We all believe in a West Virginia where no one goes hungry today or tomorrow. Mountaineer Food Bank is a proud member of the Feeding America national network of food banks.
