The 2023 Malaekahana Time Trial will take place on May 6, 2023, first rider at 6:00am. This year's event will cover a point to point course starting near Ahuimanu and finishing near Turtle Bay Resort. Youth atheltes will start near Kahana Bay. Adult course will be about 40 kilometers long, youth course will be about 20 kilometers long. Packet pick up will take place from 10a to 4p at Hawaii Triathlon Center in Kaneohe on Thursday, May 4. Race morning packet pickup will take place in the Ko'olau Center Shopping Mall parking lot on May 6 from 5:00am to 5:30am. Racer meeting will take place via Zoom on Friday, May 5 at 6:00pm. There are special conditions for this race, please plan on attending the racer meeting Friday evening. Riders will be sent off in 1 minute intervals. 

Mercx category rules:

Wheels must be less than 60mm deep, no aero bars, no aero helmets

Fixed Category rules: 

Must have working front brake

Everyone: 

Must wear buckled helmet, no unsportsmanlike conduct, no littering, no drafting, no head phones, race number must be clearly displayed for timing,
