What: Bike Race
Gritus – 50 Mile Bike Race, 70% Dirt Roads, 6,700 ft of climbing.
GRITUS – 75 Mile Bike Race, 73% Dirt, 10,200 ft of climbing.

When: Saturday, September 17, 2022 – 8 a.m. Start. Rain or Shine.
Where: Mad River Glen, 57 Schuss Pass, Waitsfield, VT 05673
Details: The race will start and finish at Mad River Glen Ski Resort. Two distances will be offered this year.
Gritus (50 miles) course contains 70% dirt roads. Gritus features a tame double track section that will feel adventurous and a couple of hefty climbs. The course features 6700 feet of vertical.
GRITUS (75 miles) contains 70% dirt roads with approximately 10,200 feet of vertical.
There are some amazing views on the course. Cyclists are 100% responsible for navigating the course. There will be no directional arrows on the course. We recommend Ride with GPS app and bringing a copy of the cue sheet. There will be a water stop at the top of Roxbury Gap and a second one at the top of Moretown Mountain Road. Entrants will receive Endurance Society swag and finishers will receive a finisher's award. A unique award will be presented to the top 3 males and females.
All participants will receive chili with cornbread and a vegan option. The venue will also be selling food and refreshments for friends and family at the base. We look forward to enjoying a gorgeous day and hope you'll join us.
