Welcome to the GREENSBORO VELO CLUB!

Having stated in 1976, we are one of the longest running recreational bike clubs on the east coast. We are totally dedicated to bicycling in all its forms; road, mountain, gravel, touring, commuting, family, cyclocross, triathlons and you name it!

We organize events throughout the season and partner with many additional events and clubs in the Greensboro area.

For 2024, we will host the Polar Bear Ride, Pedaling for Mental Health, the Rites of Spring Ride, Ride for Mickey Mouse Challenge, The HONOR Ride, the Easy Rider series, a charity Training Ride and possibly a Swap Meet too!

We will also sponsor & support the the Wednesday MTB Series, the Ride of Silence, The Mickey Mouse Ride,  The Apple Pie Ride, The Sizzler MTB Race, the Tour to Tanglewood, the King & Queen of the Watershed MTB and the Gears and Beers for Hospice!

Most of our members are recreational riders but we also have a wonderful race team that compete all around NC and beyond. Quit a few wins, but above all the team members have a great relationship of mutual support and cameraderie!

Finally,  all the customary additional fees for signing up online are paid for by the club! So there’s no excuse! 🙂
