Fastrack Racing is bicycle racing designed for younger riders – whether new to the sport or an experienced racer. Each race day includes a variety of short events that help teach basic racing skills and good sportsmanship. Every racer will be able to to compete in 2 or 3 races on a closed 1/3 km course.
Fastrack Racing is TEAM format racing. Fun is the only (and best!) prize. There will be no individual results or awards. Racers that are not already part of a team will be assigned to one for race day; smaller teams may be combined for the event. Each event will result in points for the top 5 riders; points will be totaled for team results.
All riders ages 9-14 (as of Dec. 31, 2023) are welcome to participate! Helmets are required.
Rain or wet pavement will cancel the race and all pre-registered riders will be notified and fees reimbursed.
The promoter and course officials reserve the right to combine or split fields depending on size
Directions: CCBC Catonsville is located off Baltimore Beltway (695) Exit 12, Wilkens Avenue West. Follow Wilkens Avenue West to Valley Road. Make a right on Valley Road to the college entrance. Look for signs to the race venue and parking.
