GENERAL RACE INFO

SAGEBRUSH SAFARI is back for the 5th year under Quick n’ Dirty.  The 2023 Cross Country course will be roughly 33 Miles with tons of fun singletrack! This folks is true cross country course. For the true beginners that aren’t used to that much time in the saddle we are also offering a 20 mile course.

The Sagebrush Safari XC MTB/E-MTB courses are on multi-use trails and public roads. This means that you may encounter off-road vehicles and dirtbikes, as well as vehicles on the paved roads. We will do our best to limit the traffic on the trails and roads, but we cannot forcibly stop people from using them. Please ride with caution and be courteous if you encounter any on or off-road traffic.

We are planning on having a Blazing Saddles FRIDAY NIGHT FUN RACE that is To Be Determined. We are meeting in back alleys behind closed doors to come up with some two-wheeled shenanigans, so stay tuned!

• We will open a separate registration page once the details are finalized.
• Minimal Categories (Small entry fee)
• Small Cash Purse and Sponsor Swag
• Sprint style race

CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE:

• 9:00 – 20 Mile XC MTB/E-MTB Racers will all start together
• 9:05 – 33 Mile XC MTB Racers will be released in 1 minute increments by category
• Podium presentations will be conducted accordingly as racers finish
  • Top 3 racers in each class will stand on the podium and receive an award

KIDS RACE: 

• The kids race will start shortly after the main race departs the venue. Roughly 10:00am
• The course will be roughly 1 mile around the campground/venue area

WHERE:

28880 Corral Canyon Trail, Campo, CA 91906 is the nearest physical address. GOOGLE MAPS

• This address will take you further up Corral Canyon Trail but will take you right by the venue. If you are using GPS to get there don’t go all the way to the address, make sure you stop where the fun is. Don’t go past the Navy’s Camp Morena facility, it will be on the right, across the street from the venue.

REGISTRATION:

• Online registration closes at Midnight on March 23, 2023 
• Onsite registration will close 20 minutes prior to race start. Please arrive with enough time to check-in and/or register.

COST:

We highly encourage everyone to save a little time and money and please register Online. Using Online registration makes race day flow much easier for both the organizer and the racer.

• XC MTB 33 mile – $105.00
• XC MTB/E-MTB 20 mile – $95.00
• Kids MTB Race – $20.00

For day-of Onsite Registration add $20.00

CAMPING INFO:

• Camping fees will be by donation only. So if you can spare a few bucks to help cover some of the costs, that would be appreciated.
• Boondocking (Dry Camping) will be available Friday Evening-Sunday Afternoon.
• NO INDIVIDUAL CAMPFIRES (Forest Service approved fire rings will be placed in pre-determined locations within the camping area)
• If you pack it in PLEASE pack it out. We ask that you do your part to respect the area and keep your area clean and trash free
