2023 I Love Gravel Racing Points Series

3 distance categories

Short = 24 miles or less, Mid = 25-49 miles, Long = 50+ miles

All new, and different, approach to a Points Series. There will be 2 categories, Male and Female. No age group, bike type, etc. NO E-BIKES. Must be a GRAVEL RACE. No minimum or maximum number of races. No specific races, but Premier Races benefit the participant with double points.

Our goal is to increase participation in gravel racing. We are not looking for the fastest Champion. We would like our Champions to be passionate, and engaged, in the gravel racing community. With that thought in mind, the person who participates at more races stands a greater chance of being Champion.

Series will run from March 1, 2023 and end on November 1, 2023. You may sign up for the Series at any point throughout the year, but your points will not count until AFTER you have signed up. No retro results.

**Race results reporting are the responsibility of the participant. Participant must report their results to ILGR through an email (ILoveGravelRacing@aol.com) with a verifiable source, such as timing service or results documentation.**

$15 fee for registration will include your chance at the Championship. You are not locked into one distance. Your registration will allow you to compete in EVERY distance. 

Points will be awarded for your Overall finish at ANY GRAVEL RACE, ANYWHERE. However, we will have a group of Premier Gravel Races where double points may be earned. Since we have membership internationally, you may race anywhere, at any distance and participate in this Series.

Waterloo G & G in Grass Lake, Michigan 

The Dirty Mitten Gravel Race in Middleville, Michigan

 Rode to Hell in Jackson, Michigan

Wakefield WOMXN Gravel Grind in Quebec, Canada

Sasquatch Gravel Chase in West Branch, Michigan

Hell of the West in Davenport, Iowa

Hatchet 100 in Muscatine, Iowa

Hammer Hundo in Illinois City, Illinois

Turkey Burner in Leclaire, Iowa

Fast Fitty in Charlotte, Michigan

Points rundown: 1st Overall = 500 points, 2nd = 495, and so on. 50 points are earned if someone signs up and you are listed as their referral. 10 points are earned for every race that you list ILGR as your team. More referrals, more points. More listings of ILGR as your team, more points.

Awards:  1st Male and Female in each distance will receive an awesome trophy and medal. 2nd and 3rd Male and Female in each distance will receive a medal. Additional swag TBA.
