Tenāc’s Founder Jason Tullous is a nationally certified USA Cycling professional coach who has assisted multiple national, state and regional champions through 14+ years of professional coaching. Jason knows what methods are proven to prepare athletes for everything from championship level pursuits to fulfilling lifetime goals such as finishing events like Leadville MTB 100, La Ruta Conquistadores, Paris Roubaix, L’Etape du Tour, Haute Route, El Tour de Tucson, Ironman, Tour of California, Triple Bypass, masters world championships and countless others. His coaching foundation consists of over 35 years of professional elite-level competitive cycling including a Master’s World Championship.

Jason has worked with teams and individual athletes through coaching and training camps for more than 14 years. He has coached private team-cyclists preparing for events such as the Tour of Hope, to professional pro tour teams such as Team Novo Nordisk in preparing their riders to compete with the best riders in the world. He also coached Mexico’s national team as they prepared for the 2008 Bejing, China Olympics and he’s been a coach and science adviser for the Hincapie Development Team.

In this experience, Jason has coached 10 national champions with eight being at the elite level. These have ranged from time trial, MTB marathon, road race, criterium, MTB 24hr, MTB XC, and a USAT Offroad Triathlon Champion.

His athletes have also won such events as the Cape Epic MTB Stage Race, Tour of Denmark KOM jersey, Tour of Taiwan Sprinter jersey and overall winner, and Val di Fassa UCI MTB Marathon.

In addition to his certification with USA Cycling, he is also certified through the American Red Cross and was certified in sports nutrition through the NASN.
